THE CASE FOR THE HISTORICAL RESURECTION

Billions profess to believe in the historical existence, death, and supernatural resurrection of Jesus.

This man from Nazareth, a working-class Jew, made an exclusive claim to personal deity.

I will be using scholar’s opinions and hypothesis to prove my case; I won’t be assuming anything of my own here.

Some scholars go on the traditional method by primarily believing that the gospel accounts are true and the belief that resurrection was mentioned by the canonized gospels.

Going through the historical method i will use the method called MINIMAL FACTS approach this is an powerful method of offering evidence that the resurrection was a historical event.

It was got from 2 historical scholars Gary Habermas and Mike Licona.

I am quite familiar with mike Licona. This method is not only approved by conservative scholars, but also skeptical scholars.

--Habermas has compiled a list of some 2,200 sources (both skeptical and conservative), and identified a List of 12 facts which are considered historical by the large majority of experts, even skeptical scholars.

In the Historical method we use 5 different methods.

1) Multiple sources - If two or more sources attest to the same fact, it is more likely authentic.

2) Enemy attestation - If the writer’s enemies corroborate a given fact, it is more likely authentic.

3) Principle of embarrassment - If the text embarrasses the writer, it is more likely authentic.

4) Eyewitness testimony - First hand accounts are to be preferred.

5) Early testimony - an early account is more likely accurate than a later one.

These are agreed to by a majority of scholars (ranging from atheist to conservative)

Now as per Habermas 12 points

We have well established facts which are undisputed by even atheist and agnostic scholars studying the Historical Jesus.

1. Jesus death by crucifixion

2. An early belief in resurrection

3. The resurrection appearances experienced by disciples

4. Paul’s appearance and change of heart

5. James’s (Jesus’ brother) change of heart

7. Jesus’ burial

8. The discovery of his empty tomb

9. Jesus post-mortem appearances

10. The origin of the disciples’ belief in his resurrection.

11. The empty tomb

12. The appearances to various people

13. Changes in Jewish doctrine and practice.

Now based on these 3 facts we have multiple attested independent sources.

Jesus died by Roman crucifixion

The empty tomb

Resurrection appearances

Together with the above 3 facts we have another fact which draws the conclusion that the resurrection has indeed taken place historically.

The origin of the disciples’ belief in his resurrection.

The references for the same are from

These are only some of the scholars on the historical Jesus but in truth there are many of them who are doing biblical studies at PHD level.

As per Wikipedia there are about 348 leading scholars in the world. While many are yet to graduate.

Now for facts regarding the historical scholar Gary habermas.

He has written Twenty-Seven Books, 24 scholarly articles in other books and publicized 100’s of scholarly articles on journals.

Although he was raised in a Christian home and attended a German Baptist Church, he began having serious doubts about Christianity. For more than ten years, he faced uncertainty about key Christian claims and searched other religious and non-religious systems Habermas continued his search as an undergraduate student at Tyndale College, graduating in 1972 with three majors and three minors

Studying relevant historical, philosophical, and religious questions, Habermas proposed an historical study of Jesus’ resurrection for his PhD dissertation. The topic was approved by his committee, but he was told specifically that he could not use the New Testament as evidence, unless the individual passages could be affirmed by ordinary critical standards, apart from faith During his doctoral study, Habermas developed what he now terms the "minimal facts" approach to the Resurrection. According to this method, the chief (if not the only) historical data that could be utilized were those that passed two critical tests:

1) Each datum had to be multiply attested by normal critical means, preferably from more than one angle.

2) The vast majority of critical scholars had to concede the probability of this historical fact.

In addition to the data itself, this meant conducting a long, arduous study of most of the critical publications on the subject of the resurrection, in order to ascertain the scholarly "lay of the land." Habermas concluded that the resurrection could be known according to probability as a normal historical fact. To this day, he marks the conclusion of his study as giving him the conviction that the resurrection had occurred in history

In 1985, Dr. Gary Habermas and Antony Flew debated the question of Jesus' resurrection as a literal and historical/physical event, before a crowd of three thousand people. Five philosophers and five professional debate judges judged the debate. Of the philosophers, who judged on the content of the debate, four voted that Habermas won, and the other was undecided.

Recently in 2004 Anthony flew converted to a theist after the historical evidence of resurrection.

To criticize the Resurrection various theories had been developed. But nothing has matched the resurrection historically.

Some of them are:

Jesus didn't rise==the apostles were deceived

The apostles were myth-makers=Myth

The apostles were deceivers=Conspiracy

Jesus didn't die=Swoon

But these theories didn’t last for long they were refuted by the overwhelming evidence for the resurrection.

The refutation for the same can be found here, it also answers several objections raised by critics.

Now for discussions and DEBATES on the resurrection

The Christians have DR WILLIAM CRAIG LANE A SCHOLAR FOR MORE THAN 20+ YRS DEBATES MOST OF THE WORLDS

LEADING BIBLICAL AND RESURRECTION CRITICS WHICH INCLUDE ATHEIST AND AGNOSTIC SCHOLARS.

SO FAR HES NOT LOST A SINGLE SCHOLARLY MODERATED DEBATE ON THE RESURRECTION.AND THESE CLAIMS ARE AS PER

ATHEIST REVIEWS AND NOT BY CHRISTIAN PEOPLE.

This is the debate which must be watched. The biggest biblical scholar (HISTORICAL) and critic of Christianity DR Bart ERHMAN looses on the resurrection. EVEN atheist review says the same.

Craig v/s Dr Bart Ehrman

There are more than 400+ debates which are available on the internet pertaining to Christianity V/s Atheists based on resurrection and almost all of them have been won due to the facts of the historical method.

So we see from undisputed facts that the hypothesis for resurrection can be proved using the method used by all historians and which brings out results.

3:16

3:16

Has this number been familiar to you?
what is it all about?
some secret code????
Well nothing great in that number, its only a chapter number i.e 3 and verse number i.e 16

Recently i noticed some really good verses which i memorized which had references with 3:16,so i searches all the verses in the rest of the bible which have the same chapter and verse number,
i don't believe that god had favorite numbers to write the bible,i have only written this article to reflect on the various passages with reference 3:16

(all quotations are taken from CEV)

Mat 3:16 So Jesus was baptized. And as soon as he came out of the water, the sky opened, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down on him like a dove.

Mar 3:16 Simon was one of the twelve, and Jesus named him Peter. (peter one of the apostles who was a leader among the other apostles,Jesus calls him peter from Simon)

Luk 3:16 John said, "I am just baptizing with water. But someone more powerful is going to come, and I am not good enough even to untie his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Joh 3:16 God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. (this is the most important verse for the Christians and for all the people of the world )

Act 3:16 You see this man, and you know him. He put his faith in the name of Jesus and was made strong. Faith in Jesus made this man completely well while everyone was watching.

1Co 3:16 All of you surely know that you are God's temple and that his Spirit lives in you.

2Co 3:16 with a covering that is removed only for those who turn to the Lord.(the old covenant covering is removed from those who believe in the christ)

Gal 3:16 That is how it is with the promises God made to Abraham and his descendant. The promises were not made to many descendants, but only to one, and that one is Christ.

Eph 3:16 God is wonderful and glorious. I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers

Php 3:16 But we must keep going in the direction that we are now headed.

Col 3:16 Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.
(this is one of the reasons why we need sing and praise God)

2Th 3:16 I pray that the Lord, who gives peace, will always bless you with peace. May the Lord be with all of you.

1Ti 3:16 Here is the great mystery of our religion: Christ came as a human. The Spirit proved that he pleased God, and he was seen by angels. Christ was preached to the nations. People in this world put their faith in him, and he was taken up to glory.

2Ti 3:16 Everything in the Scriptures is God's Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live.
(this shows clearly that all the words of the bible are god breathed and can be used for doctrine and reproof)

Jas 3:16 Whenever people are jealous or selfish, they cause trouble and do all sorts of cruel things.

1Pe 3:16 Give a kind and respectful answer and keep your conscience clear. This way you will make people ashamed for saying bad things about your good conduct as a follower of Christ.

2Pe 3:16 Paul talks about these same things in all his letters, but part of what he says is hard to understand. Some ignorant and unsteady people even destroy themselves by twisting what he said. They do the same thing with other Scriptures too.
(god breathed scripture defends Paul in his revelations from people who tend to corrupt the teachings)

1Jn 3:16 We know what love is because Jesus gave his life for us. That's why we must give our lives for each other.

Mal 3:16 All those who truly respected the LORD and honored his name started discussing these things, and when God saw what was happening, he had their names written as a reminder in his book.

Zep 3:16 Jerusalem, the time is coming, when it will be said to you: "Don't be discouraged or grow weak from fear!

Joe 3:16 From the heart of Jerusalem the LORD roars like a lion, shaking the earth and sky. But the LORD is a fortress, a place of safety for his people Israel.

Isa 3:16 The LORD says: The women of Jerusalem are proud and strut around, winking shamelessly. They wear anklets that jingle and call attention to the way they walk.

Ecc 3:16 Everywhere on earth I saw violence and injustice instead of fairness and justice.

Pro 3:16 In her right hand Wisdom holds a long life, and in her left hand are wealth and honor.

Lev 3:16 One of the priests will put these pieces on the altar and send them up in smoke as a food offering with a smell that pleases me. All fat belongs to me. (sacrifices in the OT)

Gen 3:16 Then the LORD said to the woman, "You will suffer terribly when you give birth. But you will still desire your husband, and he will rule over you."
(one of the verses that explain the role of women ,and the reason of suffering in childbirth)

DEFENDING PAUL-A TRUE FOLLOWER OF CHRIST

Paul a true follower of Christ

Recently I got a forwarded mail from my friend,Whose in my mailing list..

The mail was disturbing to me the title was RELIGION OF JESUS CHRIST OR

RELIGION OF SAINT PAUL,by ABDUL WAHID KHAN

As far from my point of view Paul was one of the famous followers of Christ,

How could someone write such an article on him?

I decided to investigate for myself, the first time I read the article I found out that the article was historically incorrect and unreliable…

Also this shows the authors poor scholarship in respect to biblical studies,

There was another fact that disturbed me most is that the author wants to propagate his beliefs and by using the method which involves lies, I term this behavior as inappropriate, it’s a method which does not have truth in it.

So I hereby reply to the article by ABDUL WAHID KHAN

(Every point I will reply back)

-RELIGION OF JESUS CHRIST OR

RELIGION OF SAINT PAUL

AN ANALYSIS

By

ABDUL WAHID KHAN

36/A South Central Avenue D H.A., Karachi.

--------------------------------------------------------

FOREWORD

1.  After in depth study of Bible over the years, I found that there are great

discrepancies between the teachings of Jesus Christ and Saint Paul. I was alarmed. These findings are of great significance to Christians who love and revere Jesus Christ ardently and want to follow his truthful teachings.

Here the author makes statements that there are discrepancies in the teachings of Jesus and Paul…note there are no differences in the teaching when a true bible student studies them, and besides the author has made use of incorrect historical data to distort the name of the apostle Paul

2.  But Paul has distorted the teachings of Jesus with impunity. Paul by his whims and fancies has devastated the true religion of Jesus in a most despicable manner. He has caused deviations and alterations. He has greatly adulterated the teachings of Jesus.

We shall analyze this clam that Paul distorted the name or whether the author distorted Paul’s name

3.  No one from outside Christianity could have dared to interfere with Christianity

with so much liberty as Paul has done to the religion of Jesus.

Paul never interfered with Christianity. The author forgot a fact that Christ was the founder of Christianity and Jesus himself gives the authority to Paul to write the scripture through inspiration from the Holy Spirit.

4.  Paul is a self proclaimed Christian. His doctrines are his own and without any

Divine Authority. He has thrust his own version of faith and Christians have mistakenly adopted his erroneous teachings at the cost of teachings of Jesus Christ. Paul has mostly done away with the teachings of Jesus and instead has propagated his own brand of teachings! Moreover Paul was a commoner; as such he had no right to interfere with the Divine teachings of a prophet. Also, he  had no authority to overrule, mitigate and demolish Divine teachings enunciated by Jesus. Paul has caused great deviations and adulterations to original Christianity by introducing his own doctrines.

Well we shall analyze this claim of self proclaimed Christian

1) Paul was never a follower of Christ in his early life. He was called to be a follower by Jesus himself through a vision

2) Jesus spoke to one of his followers Ananias

Act 9:15  But the Lord said unto him(ananias), Go thy way: for he(paul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel:

So this refutes claim that Paul was a self proclaimed Christian. This means that Paul had been given the authority to preach and spread the gospel of Jesus

5.   Thus Paul has caused tremendous spiritual loss to true Christianity. Today

Christians are losers in their religion. Christians with wisdom can themselves evaluate the teachings of the two and notice contradictions and contrast. For this duality only

Christians are to blame themselves. On their own they have chosen, mainly due to

misguided oratory of Church authorities, the wrong path. Paulinic doctrine is attractive to follow, but it is patently false.

We shall analyze the claim on whose at loss…and yes Christians with wisdom can evaluate the teaching and find no contradiction at all….also there is nothing that we recognize as Paulinic doctrine...

2Ti 3:16  Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.

We recognize that scripture is inspiration from god

6.  Christians forget that God’s Laws no matter how difficult they may appear can

never be replaced by man-made laws. It was for this reason that Jesus had forewarned by saying— “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing but

inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Matthew 7:15.

Yes true gods law can never be replaced, and Christians don’t forget this, and Jesus was also right by prophesying about false prophets…but Paul never did fit that criteria of false prophet,

1Jn 4:15  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God.

So Paul can never be the false prophet according to the apostle john

7.   While analysing the two sides of Christianity, one propagated by Jesus Christ and

the other by Paul, let us also look into the personality of Paul. Who was he? What he did and why he did it. No disrespect is meant to him while analyzing his personality.

Well let the examination begin…

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personality of Saint Paul

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.  Fourteen years after Jesus Christ’s departure there appeared on the scene at

Jerusalem a man called Paul. He was a Jew  who was born in Cyprus then a part of

Roman Empire.

Well Christians accepts these facts so no arguments about the same

2.  During the lifetime of Jesus, Paul had remained a staunch opponent of Jesus

Christ. (Acts 22:3-5, 26:10-11). He continued to remain so for fourteen years even after

the departure of Jesus Christ. Paul being  a Jew even tortured and got killed many of

Jesus’s followers. He was personally present at the stoning to death of Saint Stephen—

the first Christian martyr. His own words are —  For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle because I persecuted the church of God.” 1 Corinthians 15:9.  At 1 Timothy 1:13 Paul confesses—” Even though I was once a

blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man...

Let us see the full verse that the author wants to convey…

1Co 15:9  For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

1Co 15:10  But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

1Ti 1:12  I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service;

1Ti 1:13  though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief;

Let us ponder why the author didn’t quote the full verse, why did he need to use false assumptions. I don’t think that the author was ignorant of the facts or he didn’t read the full verse

3.  Paul personally never met Jesus Christ and he never was one of his disciples. Paul

being a Jew was a regular visitor of Synagogue. There he fell in love with the beautiful daughter of the Chief Rabbi. Paul wanted to marry her but the Chief Rabbi refused her hand to him. Paul became disappointed, dejected and depressed at his failure. He lost interest in life and also in the Synagogue. He became aloof and alone. He needed some other class of people with whom he could associate.

It’s true that Paul never met Jesus when he was on earth, but let’s see what these verse says

1Co 15:5  and that he(jesus) appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve;

1Co 15:6  then he(jesus) appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep;

1Co 15:7  then he(jesus) appeared to James; then to all the apostles;

1Co 15:8  and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he(jesus) appeared to me also.

The rest of the story as depicted by the author of Paul and the daughter of rabbi is not to be found in any book of the bible as well as any manuscript available

4.   Then after fourteen years, according  to Paul’s own statement, Jesus Christ

appeared to him in a vision, which was caused due to severe sunstroke while he was on his way from Jerusalem to Damascus (Syria). In that vision Jesus asked him as to why

was he persecuting his innocent followers? That moved the heart of Paul and from then onwards the hostile attitude of Paul against Jesus changed and he became an ardent follower of Jesus Christ. Paul at last found his place with a new class of people with whom he could associate with.

The author is presuming his own thoughts. That Paul saw a vision due to sunstroke, when sunstroke cannot cause blindness.

Also there are points to ponder

1) Paul was not alone; he had men with him who didn’t see vision. But they also heard the voice.

Act 9:7  And the men that journeyed with him(paul) stood speechless, hearing the voice, but beholding no man.

2) He also saw in the vision a man Ananias

Act 9:12 and he hath seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.

And Ananias was also told to go to Paul…so how could the lord who had shown the vision to Saul, tell Ananias about him???

Act 9:17  And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

5.   Paul already had an access amongst peoples of the Roman Empire who were

living in far off lands across Mediterranean Sea in areas around Rome, Greece and

Turkey. The Pagan and Gentile people living in those areas were worshipping sun, other

stars, planets, stones and various deities and idols etc. Like Egyptians they used to

believe in Pagan Trinity.

There is no historical evidence or evidence from the bible that gentiles and pagans used to worship trinity

6.   Paul was well acquainted with their  traditions, customs, cultures and beliefs.

Polytheism was rampant amongst Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Persian Pagans and

Gentiles of that time.

But Paul thought monotheism, there is no evidence that Paul thought polytheism in any of the epistles he wrote.

7.  Paul was an intelligent man of strong personality. He began to influence pagan

beliefs through his clever use of words. He was a persuasive conversationist who could play with words. Dialectical acrobatics was his art. His personality was complex.

Paul didn’t only use clever words but that the truth was on his side,

8.  Paul claimed that the spirit used to come to him in visions and used to suggest to

him a New Brand of Christianity. But that modified form of Christianity was

fundamentally different from that which was preached by Jesus. So there arose a serious conflict of opinion between Paul and the original followers of Jesus who used to strictly follow monotheism, which was preached by Jesus Christ.

Nowhere in the scripture is it mentioned that the spirit suggested him a new brand of Christianity. This comes from the authors own mind

Both Paul and the disciples used to follow monotheism and there were no conflicts excepts the incident at Antioch where peter was reluctant to share meal with gentiles,

But peter approved the gentiles from the vision he had later, where in he concluded

Act 11:17  If then God gave unto them the like gift as he did also unto us, when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?

This proves that Paul was right, and peter confirms it through his vision.

Also peter concludes that Paul was one among them and that they approve of him

2Pe 3:15  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you;

Peter confirms that what Paul wrote was true…and it wasn’t something he wrote from his mind, it was from god.

9.  Despite the opposition, Paul continued  to preach the modified form of

Christianity. Paul even called the Jewish Law of Moses as old and outdated. Paul spoke

lies against Jesus. A few examples of these lies are as follows: -

 a)  At Romans 7:6 Paul says---”But now we are delivered from the Law.”

 b)  At Galatians 3:10 Paul says—”All who rely on observing the Law are under a

curse”.

 c)  At Galatians 2:16 Paul says—”Know that a man is not justified by observing

the Law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.”

 d)  At Galatians 3:13 Paul says—”Christ  redeemed us from the curse of the law

by becoming a curse for us, for it is written Cursed is everyone who is hung

on a tree.”

 e) At Galatians 5:4 Paul says—”You who are trying  to be justified by the Law

have been alienated from Christ, and you have fallen away from grace.

 f)  At Hebrews ‘8:13 Paul says—”By calling this (his) covenant “new”, he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon

disappear.”

The author claims Paul spoke lies…lets analyze the covenant by god,

God already had promised that he would make a new covenant that would last forever, and that covenant was made after Christ was sacrificed on the cross

Jer 33:21  then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he shall not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

Jer 32:40  and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

So what Paul wrote was right, Jesus redeemed us from the law.

But now we are delivered from the Law,

Hebrews ‘8:13 Paul says—”By calling this (his) covenant “new”, he has

made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon

disappear.

So there is no contradiction in what Paul said, It was the inability of the author to understand the bible.

10. Paul compromised with Christ’s belief with the belief of the Pagans and Gentiles.

Paul modified the teachings of Christ’s Christianity with his false belief and imaginary.

Paul gave to Pagans and to Gentiles an alternate god in the person of Jesus Christ to

worship. But this was contrary to what Jesus had himself taught and preached. Pagans

and Gentiles thought that they got a nearer  god in the person of Jesus as against their

distant gods. Paul borrowed the belief of Trinity from Pagans and Gentilas and gave it to Christians in the form of Divine Trinity. God, the son and the Holy Ghost. (or the Father, the word and the Holy Ghost) (or the Water the blood and Jesus. Choose any one combination).

That’s totally wrong…Paul never preached trinity. The word trinity is not to be found in any verse of the bible. So we find here incorrect assumptions from the author that Paul borrowed pagan beliefs.

11.  Paul took some from Christianity and some from Pagans and Gentiles and started

projecting his own form of theology i.e. Paulinism. He left no stone unturned to demolish the original Christianity of Jesus Christ. It is unfortunate for today Christians that some of them still follow Paul and not Jesus Christ  though they claim to earnestly love Jesus

Christ.

There is nothing called paulinism in the entire new testament.

We don’t follow Paul…we follow only the teachings of god which were written through Paul. Which I have already mentioned above.

12.  Jesus had never called himself God or the son of God and the whole Bible is the

proof of it. On the contrary Jesus has said about himself as follows: -

The author is ignorant of the fact that Jesus called himself son of god…here is the proof

Luk 22:70  And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

(a)  A Servant—   Matthew 12:18 and 24:45 John 13:16.

  (b)  A Prophet—   Matthew— 13:57 and 21:11

Mark— 6:4, 6:15 and 9:37

Luke— 7:16, 13:33 and 24:19

John 7:16, 12:49 and 13:17.

  (c)  A Son of Man— Matthew—8:20, 12:8, 17:22, 18:11 and 26:2

John— 5:27

(d)  A Slave—    Matthew— 10:24

John— 13:16

(e)  A Student—   Matthew 10:24

The author fails to understand that god can make his son a prophet, a servant, son of man, a student at the same time

(f)   Jesus (metaphorically) said at John 20:17-

“I am returning to my Father and your father, to my GOD

and your GOD”.

There is no mention of TRINITY by Jesus. Men have themselves invented it. TRINITY is the greatest offence to ONE TRUE GOD. It is a monstrous lie. It is a greatest sin of all sins. It is unforgivable.

13.  Due to these contradictions by Paul obviously there was violent opposition from

original followers of Jesus particularly from Barnabas (Chapter of Acts) and James who was the younger brother of Jesus Christ and who was at that time the head of the faith. They considered Paul as a traitor to the  teachings of Jesus. James and his followers considered Paul as an enemy to Jesus’s preaching and teachings. They considered him a renegade and a polluted person and advised him to repent. They even advised him, as an act of atonement to have his head shaved along with others. (Acts 21:24).

Acts 21:24 has got nothing to do with Paul and the apostles…the author assumes that what he speaks is right…when you read the verse u see that they never call Paul a traitor

Act 21:24  these take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges for them, that they may shave their heads: and all shall know that there is no truth in the things whereof they have been informed concerning thee; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, keeping the law.

14.  Due to these oppositions Paul all the more needed a fresh group of peoples to

associate with where he could be accepted more easily.

This is a historically and biblically incorrect information…Paul never went to seek new group due to any opposition, Paul was appointed to the gentiles and the apostles backed Paul.

15.  Paul therefore insisted on preaching to Pagans and to Gentiles despite the fact that Jesus had instructed his disciples not to spread the word of his Gospel to non-Israelites.Paul was an astute man of stubborn and discerning nature. He did not listen to them. The influence of his personality was so great that he was readily accepted by the Pagans and the Gentiles as their preacher, teacher and a leader in faith.

Another incorrect reading from the bible that jesus didn’t want to preach to the gentiles

Act 9:15  But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel:

16.  While Paul was going his way, the religious and ideological differences between

the two groups was widening with the passage of time. The original-Christian group of James was calling Paul a Tactical Double Dealer. (Chapter Acts).

Paul was never called a tactical double dealer in any verse. the author assumes many things which never happened.

17.  Paul wanted his new modified form of Christianity to separate itself and get clear

out of the Synagogue, as he was not tolerated there anymore. His move was both

religious and political. No~ his purpose was better served by being outside the

Synagogue. He wanted a clear break from  the Synagogue. He wanted to worship at

another place, which some forty years after Jesus’s departure began to be called a

“Church.”

Paul didn’t need place to worship god….as god didn’t need a place to be worshipped

The author is ignorant of Christian theology

1Th 1:2  We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

1Th 1:3  remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

1Co 6:19  Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own;

18.  Thus Paul moved out of Synagogue and formed his own place of worship—the

Church to practice his modified form of worship which was of his own design and

making but having no Divine Authority. Doctrines of Trinity and Jesus’s crucifixion were his brain inventions and were his main theological instruments to influence men. But both instruments were false and Bible is proof of it. At the new Church Paul got greater importance than what he got at the Synagogue. So with for more enthusiasm he began to reach out to the Pagans and to the Gentiles.

This is another fabrication of history; Paul never formed his place to worship. If so then the author should have mentioned the name of the church, also the apostles supported Paul as a part of them.

There is no proof that Paul invented the doctrine of trinity it was an invention of the 3rd century’s beside the other apostles like john and peter also wrote about the crucifixion

So this demolishes any claim that Paul was the one who invented the crucifixion

1Jn 5:6  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.

19.  In order to reap a bigger harvest of followers he opened the door of his own form

of Christianity to Pagans and Gentiles all over the Roman Empire. In order to win over confidence and faith of these Pagan peoples Paul grossly compromised on principles, teachings and preaching of Jesus.

My question is to the author is what would Paul gain by reaping bigger harvest when he was beheaded for the truth, did get something after his death?

Would he get reward in heaven for spreading lies?

20.  The letters that Paul sent to various newly raised Christian Churches propounding

his own brand of Christianity are included in the Bible. They are regarded by today’s

Christians as a part of New Testament. Any one can notice the contradictions between Paul’s teachings and that of Jesus Christ. Paul was a complex and multifaceted person

who by his whims and fancies has devastated the true religion of Jesus. Today Christians are better educated. They need not be like Pagans and Gentiles of Paul’s times who adopted and followed Pagan beliefs and practices.

I would like to question the author; he says that he Paul’s letters are contradictory, which I have proven to be wrong,

Does he accept the things written by the apostles, I am sure he will make some more excuses on it?

21. Disciples of Jesus maintained that  Jesus was not killed on the cross because

Testament One says that whoever dies by being hung on a tree is accursed. (Galatians

3:13). And Jesus most certainly was not accursed. But Paul maintained that Jesus was

killed on the cross. Since writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are later day

writings much after Paul’s writing therefore they are heavily influenced by Paul’s line of thinking. Even then Mathew, Mark and Luke do not entirely share the viewpoints of Paul as well as of John. There are so many contradictions between the two groups.

Here we see some more lies, Jesus followers maintained he died on the cross

Here john says:

Joh 19:41  In the place where Jesus had been nailed to a cross, there was a garden with a tomb that had never been used.

Peter as well

1Pe 2:24  Christ carried the burden of our sins. He was nailed to the cross, so that we would stop sinning and start living right. By his cuts and bruises you are healed.

Matthew

Mat 28:5  The angel said to the women, "Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was nailed to a cross.

So we find here that there is no difference in what paul says with the disciples…

Regarding accursed here is the full verse which will explain itself

Gal 3:12  The Law isn't based on faith. It promises life only to people who obey its commands.

Gal 3:13  But Christ rescued us from the Law's curse, when he became a curse in our place. This is because the Scriptures say that anyone who is nailed to a tree is under a curse.

Gal 3:14  And because of what Jesus Christ has done, the blessing that was promised to Abraham was taken to the Gentiles. This happened so that by faith we would be given the promised Holy Spirit.

22.      At 1 Corinthians 9:22 Paul says— “To  the weak I became weak. I have becomeall things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the Gospel”. (At 2 Timothy 2:8 Paul says- “This is my Gospel”). (At Romans 3:7 Paul says—”If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory (i.e. of Jesus), then why am I still being condemned as a sinner.”)

23.

The author fails to understand the meaning of Paul. These verses will explain all

Rom 3:4  No, indeed! God tells the truth, even if everyone else is a liar. The Scriptures say about God, "Your words will be proven true, and in court you will win your case."

Rom 3:5  If our evil deeds show how right God is, then what can we say? Is it wrong for God to become angry and punish us? What a foolish thing to ask.

Rom 3:8  You might as well say, "Let's do something evil, so that something good will come of it!" Some people even claim that we are saying this. But God is fair and will judge them as well.

24.       According to Paul. “The Law” was all right upto the time of Jesus. But now the  same Law that Jesus propagated and practiced had become null and void. According to Paul man became free of “The Law” after the departure of Jesus.

This is a clear misunderstanding of Paul; Jesus came to fulfill the law

Mat 5:17  Don't suppose that I came to do away with the Law and the Prophets. I did not come to do away with them, but to give them their full meaning.

Jesus gave the meaning of the law, and fulfilled it. so the law now becomes void, we follow what Jesus commanded us to do. Which we call as the new covenant, which was promised by god long time back

Jer 31:33  Here is the new agreement that I, the LORD, will make with the people of Israel: "I will write my laws on their hearts and minds. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Psa 89:3  You said, "David, my servant, is my chosen one, and this is the agreement I made with him:

Psa 89:4  David, one of your descendants will always be king."

Psa 89:29  "One of David's descendants will always be king, and his family will rule until the sky disappears.

Psa 89:30  Suppose some of his children should reject my Law and refuse my instructions.

Psa 89:31  Or suppose they should disobey all of my teachings.

Psa 89:32  Then I will correct and punish them because of their sins.

Psa 89:33  But I will always love David and faithfully keep all of my promises to him.

Psa 89:34  "I won't break my agreement or go back on my word.

Psa 89:35  I have sworn once and for all by my own holy name,

25.      24.  Most important of Paul’s teachings is that man becomes righteous by “Faith” -and not by his deeds alone. According to him every human being is born with an inherited sin

Paul did teach by faith, but he never used the word faith alone.

Jas 2:17  Faith that doesn't lead us to do good deeds is all alone and dead!

26.      from Adam. Further Paul says that man’s sins shall not be forgiven unless he believes  that God Almighty sent His only son Jesus Christ to the earth. Here Jesus was to be tortured and killed on the cross by men as an atonement for Adam’s sin. All these are teachings of Paul of deviated faith.

Wrong, Jesus taught the same teaching before, he prophesied about his own death,

Joh 8:24  That is why I said you will die with your sins unforgiven. If you don't have faith in me for who I am, you will die, and your sins will not be forgiven."

27.      25.  Paul preached that circumcision of males was not really necessary. At Galatians

28.      5:2 Paul says-“Mark my words! I Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised,

29.      Christ will be of no value to  you at all. (Aid disease is the direct consequence of not observing this time proven practice.) Like all prophets Jesus was also circumcised on the 8th day after birth. (Luke 1:59).

Jesus followed the law and fulfilled the law. So there was no need to follow the law that was fulfilled, the author fails to understand the theology behind Paul’s words

26.    Paul allowed eating of un-slaughtered animals and even pork though during the times of Jesus these were considered as unclean and therefore uneatable.

We are not interested what Paul did before he was a disciple. In the book of acts Christians are commanded to eat anything because all things have been made clean:  Act 10:13  Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter! Kill something and eat it."

Act 10:14  But Peter said, "Absolutely not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean!"

Act 10:15  Again a voice came to him a second time, "You must stop calling unclean what God has made clean.

30.      27.  Pagans and Gentiles used to celebrate Sunday as a holiday in honour of their god—the Sun. Paul therefore replaced Saturday the day of Sabbath with Sunday to coincide with the holiday of Pagans. The Pagans and the Gentiles used to observe 25th of December as the birthday of their god—the Sun. Paul adopted this date also to be the symbolic birthday of Jesus Christ.

Wrong, there is no reference in the bible where 25th December is used as holiday, also Paul and other early Christians never celebrated Christmas.

There is no reference of Christmas mentioned in the entire bible as well as writings of Paul.

The author gets incorrect information and tries to deceive the readers with lies.

29.  Paul presented to Pagans and to Gentiles an alternate god in the personality of Jesus. Was his doctrine of Trinity right? Paul tried his best to win over a large number of Pagans and Gentiles even if he had to speak lies for the sake of a bigger following. He adopted a principle of give and take. He  replaced truth with fiction. In Trinity he discovered a new Divine formula and new converts got deceived (Chapter Romans).

Wrong Paul presented the same Jesus that the disciples were preaching and it was the same Jesus that he saw in vision.

Gal 1:1  From the apostle Paul and from all the Lord's followers with me. I was chosen to be an apostle by Jesus Christ and by God the Father, who raised him from death. No mere human chose or appointed me to this work.

30.    After 325 A.D. Paul’s teachings won a victory over the teachings of Jesus Christ with the backing of ruling king Constantine. This victory was not a mandate from God but it was through the ignorance and weakness of faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Wrong, Paul’s teaching did not win victory but it was the same teaching from Jesus that won victory, and this victory was actually a mandate from god, this is what Paul wrote 3 centuries back

2Co 2:14  I am grateful that God always makes it possible for Christ to lead us to victory. God also helps us spread the knowledge about Christ everywhere, and this knowledge is like the smell of perfume.

Mar 13:10  But before the end comes, the good news must be preached to all nations.

31.      Paul’s followers took a path, which was clearly against the Divine Law. Today most Christians follow Paul and not Jesus. Yet they call themselves Christians. Is it not hypocrisy?

It is hypocrisy???How is it?

Paul never taught against the divine law then how is it hypocrisy???

Christians don’t follow Paul or any apostle. Christians follow only Jesus

This is what Paul wrote: Paul never called anyone his disciples?

1Co 1:12  They have said that some of you claim to follow me, while others claim to follow Apollos or Peter or Christ.

1Co 1:13  Has Christ been divided up? Was I nailed to a cross for you? Were you baptized in my name?

1Co 1:14  I thank God that I didn't baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius.

1Co 1:15  Not one of you can say that you were baptized in my name.

31.  Because of Paul notions such as Trinity; Son of God; Begotten Son; the Father the  Son and the Holy Ghost; Three in One and One in Three; God made flesh; One Body and Many Parts etc. found their way into Christian faith. Paul was the cause of letting into Christianity other confusing, illogical and false dogmas as well such as Original Sin; Sin and Atonement; Jesus died for your sins; Crucifixion; Resurrection; Redemption; Bread  as Jesus’s flesh and Wine as his Blood. Paul was also the cause of letting into Christianity the mysterious and false theories e.g.—For the Wages of Sin is Death, but The Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord; Death through Adam, Life through Christ;

Life through the Spirit etc. Did Paul had a licence to say and propagate anything which he misconceived himself?

1) Paul never used the word trinity.

2) The word son of god is mentioned in the gospels:

Joh 1:34  I saw this happen, and I tell you that he(jesus) is the Son of God.

3) Begotten son is also mentioned

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This is amazing that the author did not find the words father, son, holy ghost in the bible.

One body many parts…this is the poor understand of the author that Paul is referring to the church as many parts.

So the rest of these statements made by the author stand refuted….

32.  Despite his age Paul remained as a faithful lover of Rabbi’s daughter. Without

her, his life was incomplete. In silent protest he led a life of self-denial. He remained

unmarried. But every human being has within him two natures— a good nature as well an evil nature. A man may have good in his mind but at the same time he mayhave an evil in his body. Let us see how this universal truth percolates in Paul’s existence. At Romans

7:14-20 Paul honestly confesses his weakness as follows (in a decent language)— “We know that the Law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.”

There is no proof whatsoever from any verse that Paul was a lover of rabbi daughter…

The next sentence is ridiculous, the authors intent to show lies and deception to put blame on Paul, Shows his real character.

We can see the humble nature of Paul here

1Co 9:22  To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak: I am become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.

2Co 13:9  For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting.

The author mentions Paul was evil because he didn’t marry. Now let’s see what Jesus has to say on people remaining unmarried

Mat 19:11  Jesus told them, "Only those people who have been given the gift of staying single can accept this teaching.

Mat 19:12  Some people are unable to marry because of birth defects or because of what someone has done to their bodies. Others stay single for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Anyone who can accept this teaching should do so."

This answers the reason why Paul didn’t marry. The author is refuted by words by Jesus

33.  At Romans 7:21-25 Paul further confesses: -“So I find this Law at work: When I

want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s

Law; but I see another Law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the Law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the Law of sin at work within my ~mem-bers. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Paul continues— “So then I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s Law but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Paul was a human like all, so the human nature of human is subject to sin, Paul writes about the same here. When man is subject to sin, he’s a slave to sin.

Joh 8:34  Jesus replied: I tell you for certain that anyone who sins is a slave of sin!

 34.  At 2 Timothy 4:9 Paul wrote to his young follower Timothy- “Do your best to

come to me quickly. At 2 Timothy 4:21 Paul says.” “Do your best to come to get here

before winter.”

I don’t understand the author’s intent here

35.  Paul was man of conviction. What he  believed whether rightly or wrongly he

advocated the same fearlessly despite opposition. Paul was also a courageous man to

confess his bodily sins. Paul was beheaded in Rome around 61 to 68 AD made flesh; One Body and Many Parts etc. found their way into Christian faith. Paul was the cause of letting into Christianity other confusing,  illogical and false dogmas as well such as Original Sin; Sin and Atonement; Jesus died for your sins; Crucifixion; Resurrection;Redemption; Bread as Jesus’s flesh and Wine as his Blood. Paul was also the cause of letting into Christianity the mysterious and  false theories e.g.—For the Wages of Sin is Death, but The Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord; Death through Adam, Life through Christ; Life through the Spirit  etc. Did Paul had a licence to say and propagate anything which he misconceived himself?

As I have written before and refuted the author. I don’t need to write anymore things here, Paul was not just beheaded but was martyred.

He did because of his firm belief in Jesus,

Act 21:13  But Paul answered, "Why are you crying and breaking my heart? I am not only willing to be put in jail for the Lord Jesus. I am even willing to die for him in Jerusalem!"

36.  Jesus Christ while biding his time in heaven must be lamenting over the conduct

and behaviour of his latter day followers. Surely Jesus Christ is the most unfortunate of all Messengers of God that he has been grossly misunderstood by his followers.

Yes Christ is very misunderstood by people like the author of this book, who don’t seek the truth, but spread lie’s against his him and his followers.

37.  Christians are to decide for themselves whom they want to follow- Jesus or Paul. I am only a well wisher of Christians and therefore I wish to warn them so that they may try and look forward to find a place in Heaven instead of landing right down in Hell due to their own disbelief.

Yes right Christians have decided to follow Jesus and the inspired writing of god through Paul.

Now I wish to warn the author here to seek a place in heaven since he’s been refuted in his own misunderstanding.

I am not only a well wisher of Christians but also Muslims like the author.

“Wa maa ‘alainaaa il lal balaa ghul mubeen.”

(And our duty is only to deliver the message clearly)

(Which you haven’t done)

(Qur’aan: Surah Yaa Seeeen 36:17)

if you refer the Quran I will quote the quran against your position on Paul,

*note I don’t need to use the quran to go against your position. Since he’s used the quran then I will reply back with quran

I will make those who follow thee (Jesus disciples) SUPERIOR to those who reject faith, TO THE DAY OF RESURRECTION: S. 3:55

But we gave power to those (Jesus disciples) who believed against their enemies, AND THEY (Jesus disciples) BECAME THE ONES THAT PREVAILED. S. 61:14

So from your own sources we find that the followers of Jesus were victorious

Conclusion

1) We have seen that the author used fabrication and incorrect information to spread lies for his own benefit.

2) The author assumes many things which are not present in the scripture.

3) The author is spiritually blind, to understand the bible just as the scripture says

1Co 1:19  As God says in the Scriptures, "I will destroy the wisdom of all who claim to be wise. I will confuse those who think they know so much."

1Co 1:20  What happened to those wise people? What happened to those experts in the Scriptures? What happened to the ones who think they have all the answers? Didn't God show that the wisdom of this world is foolish?

He’s like the description mentioned here:

Act 28:26  to tell our ancestors, 'Go to these people and tell them: You will listen and listen, but never understand. You will look and look, but never see.

Act 28:27  All of you have stubborn hearts. Your ears are stopped up, and your eyes are covered. You cannot see or hear or understand. If you could, you would turn to me, and I would heal you.' "

4) We have seen that there is agreement between Paul and the rest of the apostles.

5) Paul was chosen as one of the apostles by Jesus himself after the crucifixion.

6) Paul wrote by the wisdom that god gave which was misunderstood and twisted by people which include the author of this book.

Just like peter wrote:

2Pe 3:15  Don't forget that the Lord is patient because he wants people to be saved. This is also what our dear friend Paul said when he wrote you with the wisdom that God had given him.

2Pe 3:16  Paul talks about these same things in all his letters, but part of what he says is hard to understand. Some ignorant and unsteady people even destroy themselves by twisting what he said. They do the same thing with other Scriptures too.

2Pe 3:17  My dear friends, you have been warned ahead of time! So don't let the errors of evil people lead you down the wrong path and make you lose your balance.

6) For Paul Jesus was his lord and savior and he showed his love for him by being persecuted for his sake. He’s also set examples.

Here in his writing we can see how the grace and truth of Jesus was filled in him,

Even the king Agrippa who tried Paul found no fault in him

Act 26:31  But before they left, they said, "This man(Paul) isn't guilty of anything. He doesn't deserve to die or to be put in jail."

7) We can see the humbleness of Paul

Act 21:13  But Paul answered, "Why are you crying and breaking my heart? I am not only willing to be put in jail for the Lord Jesus. I am even willing to die for him in Jerusalem!"

Rom 8:35  Can anything separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble, suffering, and hard times, or hunger and nakedness, or danger and death?

1Co 7:35  What I am saying is for your own good--it isn't to limit your freedom. I want to help you to live right and to love the Lord above all else.

1Co 16:14  Show love in everything you do.

2Co 12:15  So I will gladly give all that I have and all that I am. Will you love me less for loving you too much?

Eph 4:2  Always be humble and gentle. Patiently put up with each other and love each other.

Php 4:1  Dear friends, I love you and long to see you. Please keep on being faithful to the Lord. You are my pride and joy.

1Ti 1:5  You must teach people to have genuine love, as well as a good conscience and true faith.

1Ti 4:12  Don't let anyone make fun of you, just because you are young. Set an example for other followers by what you say and do, as well as by your love, faith, and purity.

Phm 1:7  My friend, your love has made me happy and has greatly encouraged me. It has also cheered the hearts of God's people.

Col 4:18  I am signing this letter myself: PAUL. Don't forget that I am in jail. I pray that God will be kind to you.

1Co 1:31  So if you want to brag, do what the Scriptures say and brag about the Lord.

1Co 9:16  I don't have any reason to brag about preaching the good news. Preaching is something God told me to do, and if I don't do it, I am doomed.

2Co 11:30  If I have to brag, I will brag about how weak I am.

Php 2:3  Don't be jealous or proud, but be humble and consider others more important than yourselves.

2Ti 2:25  Be humble when you correct people who oppose you. Maybe God will lead them to turn to him and learn the truth.

So does any of this teaching make Paul invent some other brand of Christianity?

We can clearly see that Paul was a genuine disciple from his deeds

8) We see that the research carried on by the author is a waist, and the 20 yrs he had studied the bible is of no use. Since the truth has never gone into his heart.

The truth is still there for him to accept.

Joh 14:6  "I am the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered. "Without me, no one can go to the Father.

We pray that his mind gets opened up from blindness

Joh 17:19  I(jesus) have given myself completely for their sake, so that they may belong completely to the truth.

2Jn 1:3  I pray that God the Father and Jesus Christ his Son will be kind and merciful to us! May they give us peace and truth and love.

Peace
